I've been back from my trip to New Orleans for a few days now... but I'm having a hard time jumping back into my plain ol' life. I blame the Creole food, which, as it turns out, is the most delicious food on the planet. Perhaps I'm biased because I was only just eating it a few days ago... but whooooooo boy, that food was fantastic! Alligator Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp Po'Boys, Crawfish pastas, Beignets with Chicory Coffee... lets just say my clothes are a little snug all of a sudden.
I was going to do a post about my trip with tons and tons of pictures, but as I discovered once we had left New Orleans, I didn't really take any pictures. I took maybe about five of them. Hmmm... I'm not that great at remembering to take pictures anymore. I think I was too busy eating.
So instead, I'll just blog about how L-A-Z-Y I am now that I'm back. Its hard getting back to regular life after a great vacation, isn't it?

Sounds like a fabulous trip. I am at scrap & spa now and I think I am going to need a vacation for my vacation.

im just as lazy. its much more fun finding last minute music for the drive up than packing. it feels like everything for our last week here is stretching on forever! im just ready to be at the up there and unpacking already. glad you had fun on your trip! all that food sounds delicious!!...so much better than the hamburger helper we've been living on. talk to you later!

Oh, I can relate. We just recently returned from 5 days in Dallas, and I'm just as lazy. I'm almost done with all that laundry. But with this cold rain, I could just go lie in bed for days.
Nope, laziness abounds at this household as well. and I have no excuse!!

It takes forever for me to get back to normal after a trip to New Orleans...I keep looking for balconies and listening for Zydeco music...and I spend the next week trying to convince my fiance that we need to move.
