Winter Wonderland

None of us were dreaming of a white Christmas, but we got one anyway! Yesterday, we were all out on the porch, in the sun, eating bubble gum ice cream from the ice cream truck. Seriously. Just yesterday.

And today:

Up over four inches now. Such is weather in West Texas.

The girls liked the snow for all of 2.5 seconds. Just long enough to stick out their tongues for a taste. Then they complained about the cold and wanted hot chocolate and cinnamon biscuits covered in honey inside our warm and snug home. They take after me.

The snow couldn't have come at a more perfect time. It really makes the our upcoming Christmas feel extra special!

Happy Holidays, from our family to yours!

xoxo,

Christmas just isn't the same without snow, if you ask me...

From someone who used to live in snow country, and relocated to a 'milder' climate... I really do truly miss snow. ♥

Merry Christmas!!

A white Christmas!!! Well, that's even more incentive to move to Abilene!!! I wish my hubby's work had a location there!

Wasn't the snow so much fun?! It was so gorgeous. Well, still is, but... now that its frozen solid its not quite as cute, haha. I actually had to go out driving in it this morning, and totally lost control of the car. I seriously thought I was going to die. Luckily, the cars around me got out of the way, and all is well. Eleanore wanted to play in the snow FOREVER. We had to go out multiple times, which means we got soaked and frozen multiple times.

Merry Christmas Hopkins Family!

How cool is that?! I have to say I'm a little jealous. We live near Little Rock, not exactly in the north, but we are north of you...all we got was lots and lots of rain and some flooding. I pretty much guaranteed that we would get nothing in the way of snow all winter when I bought my kids some snow boots and snow pants from target.com. I'm glad your girls got to experience that. I'll bet it's a long time til that happens again.

How wild!! Sadly we ended up without a white Christmas. It has been raining here and all of my snow has been gone for a while. Seems strange seeing I am in Buffalo, NY.
