For whatever reason, it won't let me comment over there -- maybe because I don't have a I'm A Mom Membership Club Card? (just kidding ;))
But anyway, what I tried to say over there:
I'm not a mom so not in any way qualified to dole out advice on how to parent...but when she asks for the spoon and you say yes and then she says "Really? Can I have a spoon?"
At that point, have you ever tried turning it back and saying, "Gracie, did you not hear me say that you can have a spoon?"
Oh my dear KJ, you are so wise. Actually, no, I have never turned the question back on her. I will most definitely try that!! Thanks for the idea! :)
