No Laughing Matter

This is my coffee pot.

Sadly, this is no April Fool's joke - my hubs broke my coffee pot yesterday. I panicked. HOW WILL I EVER SURVIVE WITHOUT COFFEE??

So I came up with a solution that my once again highly caffeinated-self found amusing.

(I am easily amused)

Happy Friday folks! We'll be kicking off our weekend with a dinner of spaghetti, fresh off the tree. There is nothing better than homegrown spaghetti, in my opinion!

Thanks for the spaghetti video! I love silliness disguised as educational science videos!

I read about this April Fool's newscast. How fun to see the original broadcast.

Our coffee pot is on its last legs, and there is absolutely no getting to work without coffee. (And I hate Starbucks coffee.) I think we should preemptively buy a new one before the situation becomes critical!

bwahahah! that vid is awesome.

yeah....our coffee pot busted (brother!!!!) a while ago, and we got one that fit the bill at a second-hand place. it's glass with white hardware, and my coffee maker is black and silver. oh well. it's a pot. heh.

Ha! And you know there are people out there who actually believe spaghetti grows on trees. Just like money. :-D

Glad you figured out a solution to the coffee pot dilemma!

Just have to come back and tell you, your post prompted me to finally talk to my husband about our coffee pot -- and now a new one is on its way from Amazon!

Sometimes we need to be reminded about how close the apocalypse might be and remember to take precautions! :D

Lol..that video is a crack up!!! Funny!!

My hubby broke the glass carafe from our milk frother a couple weeks back...our solution...the martini shaker worked pretty well till the replacement came!

Love your creative solution!!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Do you have a camera set up at my house? kind of creepy. But I suppose . . . my occupation of spaghetti harvester is rather interesting to outsiders. Occupational hazard I suppose.

long live spaghetti!
