Summery Samplers

Let me just start by saying my heart goes out to all the online crafty sellers who have to photograph every single item in their shop, each time they make something. Especially the ones who live in a house that gets absolutely zero natural light in the day (and obviously zero light at night, as well).

Ugh. I hate taking photos. I love my scanner with all my heart. Unfortunately, when I need to add something to my paperie, out comes the camera... and out comes my hair as I yank it in frustration. Grrrr... I hate photographing items for my shop!

Okay, rant over. Now on with my new items.

I'm in a summery mood (probably because I'm inside with the air conditioner on. If I was out in the West Texas heat, I don't think I'd be in a summery mood. I think I would be in a very foul mood) and felt a little handful of summery samplers were in order for my paperie shop. I've also been listening to the Go-Gos all day long, so being in a summery mood kinda goes with the territory of listening to early 80's girly rock pop.

Most of them are cute and girly... but of course I had to have a boy one, featuring the Cap'n.

They're pretty darned cute, if I do say so myself. And pretty darned cheap, too. Because sometimes things should be cute and cheap, don't you think?

Me, too.

Each sampler is $2.50 and includes one note card with envelope, one 3 x 4 inch gift tag (with polka-dotted seer sucker ribbon), one 3 x 3 inch gift tag, and one sticker.

Happy summer!

xoxo,

I second that!!! Every time I look I want to buy :)

Seriously...taking pics does suck. Try getting good jewelry pics!

Those are so cute! So nice to meet another paper artist who hates the camera. You should definitely charge more for those wonderful cards though!

Sweetie, why don't you just lay those items face down in the scanner and scan them?
*giggles*

I hate taking pictures too. *sigh*

Janell, I tried that, but it makes the scans have weird horizontal lines across them. Its because of the ribbon in the tags.. not 2 dimensional, so it makes the whole scan look bad. :(
