My Stupidity Will Not Get The Best of Me

That is kind of my mantra. Incase you don’t know, I’m one of those people who will impulsively bleach the cleaning cloths before changing out of my brown cotton tank top. Why? I have no idea.

Stupid? Definitely.

Of course, when I notice the big ole bleach splatter, I get seriously pissed. Pissed at myself, and at my very bleachable shirt.

But I don’t want to let a good shirt go to waste. So what do I do? I pull out some q-tips and let my creative juices flow… in the form of a bleached flower to cover the splatter.

Not my best work, to be sure. But it is nice that I don’t have to feel like a bleached out slob whenever I wear the shirt to the grocery store or to get the mail.

My stupidity will not get the best of me!!

Very creative! I don't think I ever would have thought of doing that. Mine would have become a shirt to wear when painting or something.

I like how you always look on the bright side of things-cute flower! Can't believe you did it with q-tips. I would have to use my Clorox bleach pen to get it looking that good. I have bleach splatter on my nice Gap Khakis...any ideas on that one?

I LOVE it. What a great idea and I think it turned out so cute!

And don't feel bad, every time I use bleach I end up getting it on my clothes or something (like a towel). That's why I hardly use the stuff. LOL

Soft Scrub cleaning the kitchen sink is always what gets me! Can I mail you some bleach spotted shirts from my closet? LOL!
I love the flower design - you are so clever!

I have some painting competition! And bleach is so much cheaper. :o)

Brilliant! In fact, this shirt is so cute, you should do bleach painting on purpose! I'd write more, but I have to go to my yard-work-t-shirt drawer and salvage (and embellish) my bleach-spotted shirts now.

ahhh, that was not a mistake. it was just an "opportunity for embellishment!" which you did very well, by the way.
